if two normal dice are thrown together what is the probability of getting a sum of a odd number

Dear frnd,
From 1 to 6 there are three odd nos.-1,3,5. There are same no of even nos.So,probability is 3/6 which is equal to 1/2.

number of outcomes having odd no.s when two dice are thrown=6
because possible odd no.s that would appear on the dice are 1,3,5 and 1,3,5 in the other dice.
So the required probability=no. of required outcomes÷total no. of outcomes=6,/12=1/2
