If two objects A and B of same volume and different density are dropped from a height of 200 m, then (neglect air resistance)
1.) Both will reach together on earth.
2.) A will reach first on earth.
3.) B will reach first on earth.

Given :  two objects A and B of same volume and different density are dropped from a height of 200 m,  (neglect air resistance)

To Find : Correct option

1.) Both will reach together on earth.

2.) A will reach first on earth.

3.) B will reach first on earth.

4.) A will gain larger speed than B on reaching the earth.

Solution:

S = ut + (1/2)at²

S  = 200 m

u  = 0  m/s

a = g      as neglect air resistance

As all parameters are same in both cases

Hence t will be same

v = u + at

Hence v will also be same

so  Both will reach together on earth.

option 1 is correct

If air resistance is not neglected then object will higher density will reach first with larger speed.
