if two opposite vertices of a square are (5,4) and (1,6), then the coordinates of its remaining two vertices is : options : (A) (-2,2)&(5,3) (B) (8,-3)&(-2,1) (C) (8,6) & (3,5) (D) (1,-3)&(2,5)

Since the options are given,

We try to eliminate and find the answer from there

The figure mentioned is square hence, the distance between the 2 opposite vertices will be equal , which means that

If (x,y ) and (k,l) are the vertices and d is the distance between them

√((x-k)² + (y -l)²) = d

So,

For ( 5,4) and (1, 6) , the distance d is

= √20 units

If you check the options none of them results in √20 units

Hence,

None of the above options are correct
