Dear friend...

AREA OF PQRS = AREA OF AQRB

ar PQRS = ar AQRB

REASON: PARALLELOGRAMS IN SAME BASE AND BETWEEN SAME PARALLEL LINES ARE EQUAL IN AREA...

SO, PQRS=25CM

HOPE IT HELPS YOU....

Given :

PQRS and AQRB are on the same base QR and between the same parallels QR & PB

Area of parallelogram AQRB = 25cm²

To Find :

Area of parallelogram PQRS

Solution :

•PQRS and AQRB are on the same base QR and between the same parallels QR & PB

• Consider the theorm ,

Parallelograms that lie on the same ( or equal) bases & between same parallels are equal in area.

•Also, PQRS & AQRB are on the same base i.e. QR & lie between same parallels i.e.QR & PB

•Since , Conditions of theorm are satisfied so, Area of parallelogram PQRS & AQRB are equal

Area of parallelogram AQRB = 25cm²

=> Area of parallelogram PQRS = 25cm²
