Step-by-step explanation:

p=5cm

b=12cm

h=√(5²+12²)=13cm

perimeter=h+b+p=5+12+13=30 cm

Answer:

Given - two perpendicular side of a right angle triangle are 5 cm and 12 cm

To Find :- Perimeter = ?

Solution :

Let us assume that, hypotenuse of the right angled A is x cm.

so, using pythagoras theorem we get, → x² = 5² + 12²

→x² = 25 +144

→ x² = 169

→ x² = (13) ²

→ x = 13 cm.

then,

→ perimeter of A = Sum of all sides

→ Required perimeter = 5 + 12 +13

→ Required perimeter = 30 cm (Ans.D)

Hence, perimeter of given right angled

triangle is 30 cm.
