when two plane mirrors are inclined at an angle 45 degrees and an object is kept in front of them. then 7 images will form. because we know the formula when two mirrors are inclined at an angle that is 360 degrees/theta - 1. -1 is subtracted because in image formation two images overlap each other . now if we substitute 45 degrees in place of theta and cancel 45 and 360 and then subtract -1 the answer we get is 7 so, the number of images formed when two plane mirrors are inclined at 45 degrees the number of images formed are 7
