Given:

The radius of both cones = r

The ratio of slant heights of both cones, l1 / l2 = 5:3

To Find:

The ratio of curved surface area of the cones.

Calculation:

- The curved surface area of a cone can be calculated by the formula:

CSA = πrl

⇒ CSA1 =  πrl1

& CSA2 = πrl2

- The ratio of CSA is:

CSA1 / CSA2 = πrl1 / πrl2

⇒ CSA1 / CSA2 = l1 / l2

⇒ CSA1 / CSA2 = 5 / 3

- So, the ratio of curved surface area of the cones is 5 : 3.
