SOLUTION :  

Option (a) is correct : pq²

Given :  

m = pq³  & n = p³q² , p & q are prime number.

The factors are as follows :  

m = p¹ × q³  

n = p³ × q²

HCF ( a,b) = pq²

Hence, the correct option is (a) pq²

★★HCF : HCF of two or more numbers =  product of the smallest power of each common prime factor involved in the numbers.
