5:2 =5/2

so in percentage 5/2*100=250

since the value of 2=100  5=250

their difference is 5-2=250-100=150

I hope this answer helps you

Let Us Consider X And Y Bethe Two Positive Numbers
Given That They Are In The Ratio 5:2
That Means X/Y=5:2
X=(5:2)Y
The Percentage Is The Second Number Less Than The First Is Y-X=(2/5)X-X=3X/5(-1) ( (Y-X) /X)*100=((3X/5)/X)*100 (-1) Indicates Less Than
=(3/5)*100
=3*20=60
