If two rectangles with 8 cm length and 4 cm breadth are join together along with their length, find

the perimeter of the new shape.

length =8 cm
breadth =4cm
so,
perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

2(8+4)
24cm
then, perimater of same rectangle joins with first rectangle is same so we obtained
a new rectangle which is forms from two rectanlge join together
sides of both rectangles are same so perimeter is also equal so,
= 24cm+24cm = 48cm
