If two resistors – 3 Ω and 4 Ω are connected in parallel. What is the effective resistance of the circuit?

Answer:

when two resistors are connected parallel then

1/R = 1/R1 + 1/R2

1/R = 1/3 + 1/4

1/R = (4+3)/12

1/R = 7/12

R.= 12/7
