Let the two resistors be x and y Given Rp=2 ohm And Rs =9 ohm So Rp = xy/x+y   2 = xy /x+y.... (1) As Rs = x+y   9 = x+y.... (2) Putting the value of (2) in (1) we get,  2 = xy/9 18 = xy (9-y)y = 18.     (as 9 = x+y so, x=9-y) 9y-y²=18 y²-9y+18=0 y²-6y-3y+18=0   y(y-6) - 3(y-6) (y-3) (y-6)=0 Y=3, y=6  So the two resistors are 3 ohm, 6 ohm  Hope it helps you.....  Please mark as brainliest
