Given :

→ Two resistors of resistance 3Ω and 2Ω are connected in parallel.

→ Voltage of battery = 6V

To Find :

→ Total current flow in the circuit.

Concept :

☞ First we have to find out equivalent resistance of the parallel connection.

☞ After that we can calculate current flow in the circuit with the help of ohm's law.

☞ As per ohm's law, current flow in the circuit is directly proportional to the applied potential difference.

Calculation :

Equivalent resistance :

\mapsto\sf\:R_{eq}=\dfrac{R_1R_2}{R_1+R_2}\\ \\ \mapsto\sf\:R_{eq}=\dfrac{3\times 2}{3+2}\\ \\ \mapsto\bf\:R_{eq}=\dfrac{6}{5}\Omega

Current flow in the circuit :

\dashrightarrow\sf\:V=IR_{eq}\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\sf\:6=I\times \dfrac{6}{5}\\ \\ \dashrightarrow\underline{\boxed{\bf{\purple{I=5A}}}}\:\orange{\bigstar}
