A right angled triangle.

To do,

The length of third side.

Solution,

The traingle is right angled.(Given)

Let,the traingle as ∆ABC

 {ac}^{2}  =  {ab}^{2}  +  {ac}^{2}  \\  {ac}^{2}  =  {(12)}^{2}  +  {(5)}^{2}  \\  {ac}^{2} = 144 + 25 \\  {ac}^{2} =  \sqrt{169}    \\

By canceling squares

ac = 13
