According to the question ,

$\boxed {\blue{\sf{Semi-perimeter \: (s) \: = \:\dfrac { a + b + c}{2}}}} \\ \\ \implies \sf{ 21 = \dfrac{14 + 12 + c}{2}} \\ \\ \implies\sf{42 = 26 + c} \\ \\ \implies\sf{c = 42 - 26} \\ \\ \implies\sf{c = 16cm} \\ \\ \therefore \sf \large\underline\red{Third \:side \:of \:the \: triangle \: is \: 16 \: cm}$
