Since unit is not given, i am taking cm as unit of length.

Considering the triangle rule, that size of two side should always be greater than 3rd side.

To find the 3rd side, we can twist this statement that sum of two shorter side is greater than the longest side.

A + B > C

6 cm side is obviously shorter than 7 cm.

Case 1 : Lets assume that 7 is the longest side.

x+ 6 > 7

x > 1

Case 2 : Lets assume x is the longest side

6 + 7 > x

x < 13

So, the third side should be more than 1 cm and less than 13 cm

1 < x < 13
