if two sides of triangles are 8 cm and 11 cm . if its parameter is 32 cm .find its area

Let ABC is a triangle

Let,

AB = 8 cm , AC = 11 cm and BC = ?

Given that,

Perimeter of triangle = 32 cm

AB + BC + AC = 32

8 + BC+ 11 = 32

BC = 32 - 19

BC = 13 cm

Semi perimeter = 1/2 × ( AB + BC + AC )

=> 1/2 × ( 8 + 13 + 11)

=>16 cm

Therefore,

Area of triangle = ✓S ( S - A) ( S - B ) ( S -C)

=> ✓16 ( 16 - 8 ) ( 16 - 13) ( 16 - 11)

=> ✓16 × 8 × 3 × 5

=> 4 × ✓ 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 5

=> 4 × 2 ✓2 × 3 × 5

=> 8✓30 cm².
