To Find:-

• The CSA of the newly formed Hemisphere.

Solution :-

$\sf{ \bold{ \red{ \underline{★CSA\: of \: hemisphere = {2\pi \: r{} }^{2} }{} }{} }{} }{}$

So, When two solid hemispheres of same base radius and are joimed together it states

$= > \bold{ \red{2 \times 2\pi{r}^{2} }{} }{} \\ \\ \bold{ \red{ = > 4\pi {r}^{2} }{} }{}$

So, hence the CSA of newly formed Hemisphere = 4pi r^2
