If two supplementary angles are in ratio 2 : 7 , find them

Let each of the angles be 2x and 7x respectively.
Then , we must also know that supplementary angles are those angles whose sum is equal to 180 degrees.

So ,

2x + 7x = 180
9x = 180
x = 20

Thus ,
First angle = 2x = 2*20 = 40 degrees
Second angle = 7x = 7*20 = 140 degrees.
