Solution :-

Let the number be "x".

Then two third of the number will be :-

• $\sf \dfrac{2}{3} x$

Increasing the number by 4,

• $\sf We \: get \: \dfrac{2}{3} x + 4$

Now, half the number will be :-

• $\sf\dfrac{1}{2} x$

Then 6 more than half the number will be :-

• $\sf \dfrac{1}{2} x + 6$

It is given that :-

• Two third of the number increased by 4 is equal to 6 more than half of the number.
