if two trains pf length L1 and L2 km respectively
are travelling in same direction at S1 km/h and S2 km/h respectively, such that s1>s2 ,then S1-S2 is called their relative speed and the time taken by the faster train to cross the slower train is given by( \frac{l1 + l2}{s1 + s2} )

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Length of 1st Train (Lt) = 150m

Length of 2nd Train (Lt) = 180m

Length of 1st Train (Lt) = 50km/hr

Length of 2nd Train (Lt) = 58km/hr

Now,

Relative speed = 58+50 = 108km/hr

108 ✖ 5/8 = 30m/sec

Crossin time (Tc) = Sum of length of two objects/Relative speed

= 150+80/30

= 11 second
