If two triangles are on the same base and between the same parallels, Then the area of the two traingles are equal.

So, area of 1sr triangle = area of the 2nd triangle.

Ratio of their areas =

1/2 * base * height / 1/2 * base * height

Therefore, 1/1

That is, 1 : 1
