let the equation be p(x)=0
Now
first put the value of x=(-1)in p (x)=0
after solving you will get an equation
p+q=(-2) ................(i)
similarly put x=2in p(x)=0
you will another equation
2p-q=5...................(ii)
now add eq(i) and eq(ii)
you will get 3p=3
or p=1
put the value in eq (i)
you will get q=(-3)

hence, p=1 and q=(-3)
