if two zeros of the polynomial x4 - 6 x 3 - 26 X square + 138 X - 35 are 2 plus minus root 3 find other zeros

It is given that(2+root3) &(2-root3) are two zeros

Therefore

(X-(2+root3))...... eq1

(X(2-root3))........ eq2


By eq1×eq2

We get

Xsquare-4X+1

By diving the given polynomial

We get

Quotient =x2-2x-35

Remainder =0

Hence

X2-2x-35=x2-7x+5x-35=(x-7)(x+5)=0

So

X=7,-5
