Given,

Initial velocity = 2i-2j+3k

Final velocity = 2i-4j+5k

Time taken = 10 s

To Find,

Acceleration vector

Solution,

The formula for calculating acceleration is

a = (v-u)/t

   = (2i-4j+5k-(2i-2j+3k))/10

   = (-2j+2k)/10

    = ( -j + k)/10

Hence, the acceleration vector is (-j + k)/10.

Given,

Final velocity = 2i-4j+5k

To Find,

Acceleration vector

Solution,

We know that,

v = u + at

So, by rearranging the formula, we get this for calculating acceleration

a = (v - u) / t

  = {2i - 4j + 5k - (2i - 2j + 3k)} / 10

  = (2i - 4j + 5k - 2i + 2j - 3k) / 10

  = (-2j + 2k) / 10

   = (-j + k) / 5

Hence, the acceleration vector is (-j + k) / 5.
