if we fell into a crack we can fell deep in the earth and if the crack is not so deep we will be able to come out

Well, generally, people may get stuck inside the crack but never land anywhere cause they're stuck. The cracks caused by any earthquake are not deep enough to make an individual actually fall inside. If you fall inside a crack, you are most likely to climb up by yourselves without any major injury.
