if u keep an iron peice in solid state CuSo4 crystals ,does it get any reaction .guess y

This question was asked in my boards today.

No, here no reaction takes place. Because the copper sulphate is in solid form.So, it doesn't react.

=> If it is in liquid form then it will react.

=> Since it has oxygen in it..

Ans == No there is no reaction will happen because copper crystals are they donot reacts
.
If it is solution then it displaces
Iron displaces copper because iron is more reactive than copper

So the reaction will displacement

CuSO4 + Fe ------->FeSO4 +Cu
