I'm really not sure. ...I think it's 7 as we can understand the pattern....bcoz in first column 40,30,20,10 r arranged in descending order by 10 digits..and in second 14,13,12,11 r arranged in descending order by 1 digit....similarly In the third they r arranged in ascending order by 1 digit .ie..11,12 so we add the next ascending number of 6 that's 7.....hope it helps u

If u look at the question clearly, Then u will understand that all are arranged in ascending or descending order. Not like 2 are arranged in ascending and 2 descending order.
let me make the statement more clear, In the 1st column all the following the same pattern(Ascending order), In the 2nd column, all are following the same pattern(Descending order). But in rhs(Third column), Y 2 are following the ascending order and 2 are following the descending order
