Answer:

   n(A∪B) = 9, n(A∩B)= 4

Step-by-step explanation:

Given U = { x/x belongs to N x < 10} [here N Indicates natural numbers 1, 2, 3...]

          U = { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9}

          B = {x/x is an even number x < 10}

          B = { 2, 4, 6, 8 }

         A∪B = { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9} ⇒ n (A∪B) = 9

         A∩B = { 2, 4, 6, 8 }  ⇒ n ( A∩B) = 4
