Answer:

Given:

U = { x:x belongs to N and x< 10}

A= { 1,2,3,5,8}

B= { 2,5,6,7,9}

So,

n(u)= 9

n(A)= 5

n(B)= 5

(AnB)= { 2,5}

n(AnB)=2

n(AuB)= n(A)+ n(B) -n(AnB)

= 5+5-2

=8

n{(AuB)`}= n(U)- n(AUB)= 9-8=1

so, the answer is 1
