\tt\orange{d)2or8}

2² ends with number which is having 4 in it's unit place .

So, all the numbers which have 2 in unit's place have 4 in it's squares ✔✅✔

1st option - 2 can also be in the unit place but, 8 can also be in it's place .

So, option a is not correct

2nd option have 4 whose square ends with 6, but not 4 .

So, option b is not correct

3rd option have 6 whose square ends with 6 itself, but not 4 .

So, option c is not correct

4th option have 8 whose square ends with 4 (what we want)

For instance, 8² = 64, 18² = 324
