If UV rays are harmful to plants and they can destroy them. From a long time plants exist, so when the UV rays fall on the plants and they die where is the oxygen coming from and how is ozone-forming UV rays are there from the time where the earth was forming so how did plants survive this condition and formed oxygen and ozone.

UV rays are truly harmful to the plants and animals indeed.

But when the sunlight falls on us we are not getting affected in such a way as we are told. This is because we have a protective layer called as the ozone layer in the 2nd layer of atmosphere i.e, Stratosphere. This ozone layer absorbs the UV rays and makes them harmless for us and as well as plants.
