Ans: If three vectors are coplanar, then their Scalar triple product must vanish. Since a vector, b vector and c vector are coplanar,, so {a vector. (b vector * c vector)} =0 or [ a b c]=0
Find the cross product of b vector and c vector and make a dot product with a vector. Compare the result with zero. You'll get,
7y=28 or y=28/7=4.
So for y=4 , a, b, and c vectors are coplanar.
