the equation is given by R = √(A^2+ B^(2 )+2.A.B.COSθ) replace the values and we are left: R = √(10^2+ 4^(2 )+2.(10).(4).COSθ) then R = √100 + 16 + 80 cos90

therefore R = √ we take out the square root and we have R = 10,77
