If velocity v of a particle moving on a straight line
as a function of time t is given as v = 5 - t (m/s)
then the distance covered by the particle in first
10 s is
(1) 5 m
(3) 25 m
(2) 15 m
(4) 50 m

v = 5 - t
=> dx / dt = 5 - t
=> dx = ( 5 - t ) dt
on integrating both sides , we get
=> x = 5t - t^2 / 2
so distance travelled by particle in first 10 seconds can be calculated by taking t = 10 in above equation
we get
x = 5 × 10 - (10)^2 / 2
= 50 - 100 / 2 = 50 - 50 = 0 meter
This is my Answer as per concept and velocity function...
