If vertical component of a vector is equal to its horizontal component,the angle made by the vector with x-axis?

if horizontal component is equal to vertical component then v(cos a) =v( sin a) then a =pi/4

that's the answer

HEYA MATE HERE U GO.

  • let teta be angle made by the vector R with the X -axis.
  • Vertical component of R = R sin teta.
  • Horizontal component of R = R cos teta.
  • Therefore Rcoc teta = R sinteta = tan teta = 1= teta = 45degrees.
