Given :   V₁ + V₂  is  perpendicular to V₁ - V₂

To Find :  Condition when it happens

Solution:

V₁ + V₂  is  perpendicular to V₁ - V₂

=> Dot product will be zero

=> ( V₁ + V₂) . (V₁ -  V₂) =  0

=> V₁² - V₂²  = 0

=> V₁²=  V₂²

=> |  V₁|  = |V₂ |

Hence magnitude of both the vectors are equal

and angle can be any between vectors
