if virus is dead then how it can move into a living body​

Virus is both living as well as non living...

when it's outside the body it's living but when it enters body through any media it is living.

through food ,water,air and other sources....actually viruses live on the verge of living and non living....when outside the body they are dead but when inside starts functioning and cause the disease.... they cannot be destroyed by any means actually...especially when they have a protective covering....when outside ...it is dead...so how can it be killed...
