If volume of a cube is 17 28 cm cube then find its surface area of a cube

let side of a cube is x

volume of cube is 1728

volume of cube = l × l × l

1728 = x cube

then,

1728 is in cube root

3√1728 = x

12 = x

x = 12cm

side of cube = 12cm

suface area of cube is 6a^2

= 6 × 12 × 12

= 6 × 144

= 864cm

surface area of cube is 864 cm is your final answer.

Solution

Let s as side of cube

v as volume of cube

a as surface area of cube

As we know that

v =  {s}^{3}

hence

 {s}^{3}  = 1728

as 1728 is the cube of 12 hence

s \: = 12cm

Now we can find surface area of cube

a = 6 \times  {s}^{2}

a = 6 \times  {12}^{2}

by multiplication we get

a = 864 {cm}^{2}

Hence surface area of cube is

864 {cm}^{2}
