If water is an non-exhaustable resource and it is unlimited, then why do we have save water campaigns?

inspite of having 70% water in earth, there is only 0.2% of water which can be used and rest are saline water which cannot be used.There is unlimited water in earth but usable water is limited and since population is increasing day by day, the need of water is increasing.The usage of water is increasing day by day but the the total usable water is becoming scanty. The rain is the only source of fresh water which is converted from saline water.Therefore,to aware people about the scarcity of water....save water campaign are done
