As you heat the water at super critical pressure, it keeps getting heated and at critical temperature it gets converted to steam immediately. Note that at critical temp and pressure, the latent heat is zero. Imagine a normal boiler. Water at a certain pressure created by the pump enters it and over certain length of boiler tubes, water becomes mixture of steam and water and beyond that it becomes all steam.
