If water is heated the amount of oxygen dissolved in it reduces. Manish did not know this. In winter he warmed up the water in his aquarium so that the fish would not feel cold. But the fish died. Why?

this is because the solubility of gases in water decreases with the increase in temperature. Gases are more soluble in cold water than in hot water. Hence when Manish heated the water, the amount of oxygen and other gases decreased and the fishes died due to less amount of oxygen.
