Let the required number be x.

According to the question :

\sf\:Twice\:of\:number+7=99

\sf↦\:2x+7=99

\sf↦\:2x=99-7

\sf↦\:2x=92

\sf↦\:x=\frac{92}{2}

So the required number is 46 .
