If we add 7to twice a number,we get 49. Find the number

Let the number = x

twice the number = 2x

according to the problem given,

2x + 7 = 49

2x = 49 - 7

2x = 42

x = 42/ 2

x = 21

Therefore ,

Required number = x = 21
