• Age of Bharat = y = 3x-2

So age of Bharat is equal to 3x divided by 2

Present age of

• Ramesh x/2
• Bharat 3x / 2 + 6
• Mahesh x+6

Sum of ages of Bharat, Ramesh and Mahesh = 60

ATQ. x+6+x/2+6+3x/2+6=60

x+3+x/2+x/2+18=60

6x/2=60-18

Present age of

• Ramesh = x/2 + 6 = 14/2 + 6 = 13 years
