If we add water to concentrated acid for dilution what will hapen

we can't add water in acid normal because the water will get vapourized and process can't be undertaken so we add acid in water to dilute it not water in acid

If we add a water to a acid for dilution ,it can harm us becase the acid will realise a large amount of energy at a particular time so we should not add water to acid but we can add acid to water for dilution.
