Whenever anger becomes uncontrollable and un expressable it leads to destructive thoughts and action if proper steps are not taken,
Here are some tips that you should follow when you feel angry:
(i) Try to express your feeling but in a soft manner which will not affect or harm anyone (including you)
(ii) try to be calm
- it can be done by taking deep breadth.
- chewing anything ie. toffee or chewing gum etc.
- scrambling paper
(iii) Try to visualising a happy place, where you feel good.
(iv) Practice positive self talk.
(v) Ask for support from someone you trust.
(vi) Share your feelings and don't hide them.
(vii) Try to see humor in what, angered you.
(viii) If you are unable to do these, take a pillow and just beat or hit it hard, till you don't get relief.
