atomic no. is the number of protons present in an atom... we know that no. of protons is equal to the no. of electrons. in this way atomic no. will give us no. of protons and electrons... mass no. is the sum of no. of protons and neutrons. so by subtracting atomic no. with mass no. we will have the no. of neutrons
