If we assume one mole of element contain 6.022*10 to the power 24 find out the new molar mass of oxygen

Given:

1 mole contain 6.022×10²⁴ molecules.

Then:

Avogadro number=6.022× 10²³.

Atomic mass of Oxygen=16 u

Therefore molar mass of Oxygen=32 u

Solution:

Number of moles = Given number of molecules ÷ Avogadro number

10²⁴ ÷6.022×10²³

Mass=molar mass× number of moles

= 32×10²⁴÷ 6.022×10²³

= 53 g
