Silk Fibre are derived from silk worm and therefore called as animal Fibre.
Silk Fibre is made up of two proteins called as sericine and fibroin.
So when we burn, is actually we are burning protein molecules which are natural proteins. Hence when it is burnt it smells like human hair which also contains protein.
